\ A local institution finds its next chapter
Lake Mary Pub & Tiki Bar
Legacy inside.Tiki out back.
Strategy, identity, operating collateral, event marketing, and an events-first website for Lake Mary's oldest bar.
\ The pressure
Lenny Hollis had invested in Lake Mary's oldest pub for years. The history was valuable, but history alone would not create the momentum he wanted for a small bar and live entertainment venue.
Protect the pub. Expand the venue.
We began with what regulars already loved, what the venue needed to improve, and where a distinct experience could create a new reason to visit. The answer was not a wholesale rebrand. It was a second chapter outside, while remaining authentic to the locals.
01
Protect the regulars
Keep the familiar pub experience and the people who already gave the place its meaning.
02
Expand the occasion
Turn the outdoor space into a distinct reason to stay longer, return, and bring someone new.
03
Build for service
Create identity assets that work on shirts, menus, signs, events, social, and the website.

\ Drawn from the trip
Sunset Key, Buffett, & inspiration.
While in Sunset Key, music and drinks inspired the first concept drawing of a modern red macaw. Feedback from Lenny and Johanne refined the illustration into an expressive mark made for the outdoor tiki bar, signs, shirts, cards, and the atmosphere around them.
Symbol
A red macaw gave the outdoor space a host with attitude and immediate tropical recognition.
Ritual
The coconut drink and five-o'clock line turned the illustration into a specific bar experience.
Range
Full and compact compositions gave apparel, print, signage, and digital layouts the right silhouette.
\ The identity language
The local lingo.
The typography, micro assets, and colors gave every touchpoint the same immediate voice.

LIVE MUSIC EVERY WEEKEND NIGHT
Bold, stamped headlines lend an emphatic pause.
\ Uniform as environment
The staff & the locals love the fit.
Front and back compositions were prepared for screen printing across white and navy Bella + Canvas garments. Apparel made the outdoor identity visible during service without disconnecting it from the practical needs of a working bar. We produced both men's and women's styles and, most recently, a new heavyweight classic.

Photography
Black Bambu photographed the food and cocktails, then built those images into menus and promotional assets that sell the experience before a guest arrives.
